It’s a hot, dry summer in a village near the German-Polish border. David travels back to the place of his childhood for the funeral of his once best friend, Andreas, who took his own life. As the trip turns into a confrontation with a broken friendship, David begins to explore the past with their mutual friend Paula, when Andreas suddenly appears as a ghost. At first, David tries to shake off the supernatural, but it turns out be as persistent as the question of why Andreas took his own life.
