She has been lying there forever. Her eyes blink now and then. Otherwise, nothing moves. Only a few flies crawl along her back. She is waiting for something, she is waiting for nothing. She cannot tell. She only feels the heat and something inside her that is tearing her apart. She just doesn’t know what it is.
Her broken leg has locked her for days in this hot, stinking room of her boyfriend. The Other one.
Between them there is no passion anymore. No tenderness. Only exposed flesh and boredom.
